OC-Craft Food Trip: Boy Zugba, Davao City

Hey Lovelies, are you looking for a new place to dine in Davao City? Well, you are lucky because I’m going to share with you my latest food trip where I experienced a different type concept of a resto. But before I share it with you please do follow my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get updated of my food trips.

Last August 27, Boy Zugba invited me  and some of my friends from Davao Bloggers to try their newly open grill resto that was located at the Rooftop Garden of Abreeza Mall, Davao City. Boy Zugba is a bisaya cuisine that was originated in Cagayan de Oro City. There meal concept is like a food you see in a karenderia or at home but in a modern twist. Since it’s a bisaya cuisine you will notice at the menu that some name of their dishes are in funny bisaya language and aside from that, a lot of bisaya hugot quotes were located at their walls, tables and at the back of their crew shirts na mapapa- aaawww….., ouch!, or mapa-LOL ka na lang (it’s instagram worth sa mga taong gustong hugot).

With regards to food, they have wide selections in their menu. Starting with their pampa-gana sa pakas (appetizers), vegetables dish na gikan sa secret garden ni Zuggy, wow sabaw (soup), sizzle bebeh (sizzling meal), pancit and deserts which are very affordable. If you love cheese like me, one of my favorite dishes in their menu is the Cheezzy Chorizo and the Queso Scallops which is definately  a #OcCraftPasado. If you’re planning to have get together with your family or friends, I suggest you order their Boodle meals that comes in 3 options, the karne-vorous (meat), I sea food (sea foods) and meat @ da sea (mixed meat and sea foods) that’s good for 5 pax with a price range of 999-1,700 pesos or you can also order Budotz Bilao pampabusog sa party (party platter) that is good for 8-10 pax with a price range of 880-1120 peso. But if you’re on a budget you can order Bagetz meal for only 109 peso (just add 10 pesos for unlirice). Their meals are definately good and budget friendly. I will surely come back and bring my friends with me.
