My 8 Go-To Makeup Products as Stay-at-Home Mom

As a stay-at-home mom, my days are often filled with house chores, taking care of my little one, and running errands. While I don’t always step out of the house, I still love wearing makeup even when I’m just at home. It’s not about impressing anyone, but more about making myself feel good, refreshed, and confident. Makeup has become my little “me-time,” and currently these are my favorite makeup products, my 8 go-to products that I can’t live without.

 

Here is my simple yet effective makeup kit:

 

1. Sunscreen: Garnier Super UV Matte Finish Sunscreen

This is a two-in one favorite! This Romantic Pink shade are soft and easy to apply, making my eyes look brighter without being over the top. I also love using the lighter shade as a highlighter on my cheekbones, nose bridge, cupid’s bow, and chin.

7. Lipgloss: Nivea Lip Balm with Tint – Cherry Flavor

Sometimes I’m not into heavy lipsticks, so this Nivea lip balm with cherry tint is perfect. It keeps my lips hydrated while adding just the right amount of color for that fresh, everyday look. (whispering) Here is a secret: I also use this at night before I go to sleep, to make my lips look hydrated in the morning. (wink*)

 

8. Eye Mascara: Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara

Even on days when I skip eyeshadow, I always curl my lashes and swipe on Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara. It opens up my eyes instantly, making me look more awake (and less like tired mom, nyahaha!)

 

Makeup doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. For me, it’s about having a few reliable products that make me feel put together. As a stay-at-home mom, wearing makeup, even if it’s just a simple look, reminds me to take care of myself, too. After all, when we feel good inside and out, it reflects on how we take on our day.
