My 2026 Planner & Journal Setup (Better Late Than Never)

, , No Comments

I know... it is already five months into 2026, and yes, this kind of planner setup usually happens at the start of the year. But life had other plans for me. Between errands, responsibilities, and everyday mom life, I just couldn’t sit down and create my planner the way I wanted to. And to be honest, part of the delay was also me. I kept putting it off because I wanted everything to be perfectly arranged. You know that feeling when you have so many ideas, but you don’t know where to start? That was me for months. Then one day, while scrolling through Instagram, I saw Dar’s journal posts, and somehow, it gave me that little push I needed. It reminded me that starting imperfectly is still better than not starting at all. So here it is, my 2026 planner and journal. Finally.

My Planner Sections

I kept my setup simple but meaningful, focusing on what truly matters in my daily life.

2026 Cover

I started with a cover page to set the tone for the year. Something simple, creative, and very me.

2025 Review

Before moving forward, I wanted to reflect. This page is dedicated to lessons learned, milestones, and memories from 2025.

2026 Goals

I broke down my goals into three important categories:

1. Personal

2. Creative

3. Career

This helps me stay focused and balanced in different areas of my life.

Yearly Plans

Here’s where I mapped out the projects I want to accomplish each month. It gives me a clear vision of what I want to create throughout the year.

Monthly Calendar

This is my go-to overview for:

1. Appointments

2. Events

3. Special occasions

It helps me see everything at a glance.

Things to Remember

A practical section where I track important details, like password changes and other things I don’t want to forget.

Wish List

A space for the things I want (or dream of having). It keeps me inspired and motivated.

Health Tracker

This section is very important to me (lalo na now nasa 40ish na ako). I track:

1. My period cycle

2. Clinic visits (dentist, doctor check-up)

It helps me stay mindful of my health.

Birthday Log

Because I never want to miss special days, I list down birthdays and anniversaries of family and friends.

Campaign Monitoring

As a content creator, I found this section super helpful. I log:

1. Paid collaborations

2. Ex-deals

3. Events attended

It keeps everything organized and easy to review.

What makes this planner extra special is that it is completely handmade. I designed and laid it out using the stationery I already have, like my favorite pens, stickers, and creative materials. No fancy tools, just creativity and intention.

This planner may not have been stated in January, but it started when I was ready. And honestly, that matters more. This is a reminder that you don’t have to wait for the “perfect time" to begin. Whether it is planning, journaling, or chasing your goals, you can start anytime. And if I ever feel like something is missing, I will just add it along the way. That is the beauty of a planner. It grows with you.
