MILO® and SWIM Philippines make waves in promoting grassroots sports and life skills nationwide

As part of its mission to encourage young children to reach their full potential and make sports accessible to all, MILO® Philippines has teamed with SWIM Philippines (SWIM PH), the umbrella organization of the prestigious Bert Lozada Swim School (BLSS), which is recognized as the largest in the nation. This collaboration carries on the brand’s objective of developing well-rounded athletes who excel in both sports and life.


 

Renowned for having produced several Olympians, national athletes, and record-breaking swimmers, all while having taught over 600,000 students how to swim over the last 69 years, and serving over 30,000 enrollees annually, Bert Lozada Swim School brings decades of expertise and supports the MILO® vision of sports for all.






Through this partnership, MILO® Philippines reinforces its dedication to empowering future Champions to grow and succeed through discipline, grit, and teamwork. Together, MILO® and SWIM PH with BLSS aim to make a deeper impact on the future of swimming in the Philippines.


 

Kicking off the MILO® and SWIM PH partnership would be the Inter-School Swimming Competitions, referring to regional meets that will be held in long and short course formats across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. At the heart of this initiative is a shared goal, to discover and nurture young talents from the grassroots level, starting in school, where many future champions first learn to love the sport.


 

SWIM PH and BLSS will also lend their expertise to flagship programs such as the MILO® Summer Sports Clinics, helping to provide young swimmers with the essential life skills and training needed to kickstart their athletic journey. In addition, nonvoice-level competitions will also held nationwide offering opportunities for Champs in the making to showcase their potential and gain valuable experience.


 

With more than 40 active branches in the country, BLSS with SWIM PH continues to be a key player in grassroots sports development, now with the added strength of MILO®, the country’s leading advocate for youth sports and active lifestyles.
