OC-Craft: Taiwan Excellence shares the excellent lifestyle to Dabawenyos

The symbol of Taiwan Excellence honors Taiwan’s most innovative products, which provide tremendous value to users worldwide. Products bearing this symbol have been selected for specific Taiwan Excellence Awards, based on their excellence in design, quality, marketing, Taiwanese R&D, and manufacturing.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) invites Dabawenyos to the Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone to experience how Taiwan Excellence products can enrich their lives. Taiwan Excellence will promote its brands, products and Taiwan’s ceaseless innovation, at the 2019 Davao International Marathon (DIM 2019).

Previously focused on Manila, Taiwan Excellence is hoping to share its innovation to increasing numbers of Filipino consumers and help enrich their lives. "For the past six years, we have built a strong and loyal following in Manila. During this time, we received an outpouring of support for our brands,” says Tony Lin, TAITRA Deputy Director of the Strategic Marketing Department. “This is why we have decided to broaden our reach this year and introduce much-needed innovation to more people.”Asked on why they chose Davao, Lin responded that they were charmed by the spirit and energy of the city. Citing similarities between Taiwan and Davao City, Lin said that the “Durian Capital of the Philippines” is a great fit for the unmatched lifestyle Taiwan Excellence espouses. "Davao boasts a teeming natural ecosystem and a vibrant population, much like Taiwan. I believe these factors make it an optimal place to promote the many innovations coming out of Taiwan,” he added. To share the “excellent lifestyle” with Dabawenyos, Taiwan Excellence is assembling the Experience Zone, which is dedicated to showcasing superb brands that have been awarded the Taiwan Excellence accolade. According to Lin, the much-coveted award honors Taiwan’s most innovative products “that provide innovative value to users worldwide”. Each product has been selected for a specific Taiwan Excellence Award based on their superiority in the following categories: design, quality, marketing, R&D, and lastly, it should be made in Taiwan. Sought out worldwide, the symbol of Taiwan Excellence is recognized in 102 countries.

Located at the DIM 2019 Race Village at People’s Park, Taiwan Excellence will proudly display the quality of Taiwanese brands alongside other games and surprises on race day on March 10.
