Last June 20, 2019 NCCC Supermarket announced their one-day event
campaign about Go Green Revo where they encourage their consumers to adapt zero
waste lifestyle in their own simple ways like choosing reusable items in daily
routines and skipping single-use plastics specially packing of grocery items
that you purchased.
The event is inspired from retail company’s campaign called
Go Green Campaign which promotes sustainable and environment-friendly grocery
shopping to its customers. It was launched in December 2018 with the opining of
the Green Lane Counter which is now open across 18 branches. The Green Lane Counter is a special counter for shoppers who
opt to have their items packed with Eco-friendly and re-usable bags. They can
either purchase it at the counter or bring one along with them.
NCCC Supermarket is inviting everybody to join their Go
Green Revo Fun Run and experience a plastic-free run in Davao City. It will be
hosted by Kapamilya Host and Fitness Enthusiast Gretchen Ho on July 28, 2019 at NCCC Mall VP, Davao City. There
will be as much as P50, 000 worth of prizes awaits you! You just have to purchase
Milo products at any NCCC Supermarket branches that are worth P300 for 3
kilometer Kids Category ages 8-12 years old, P400 for 5 kilometer and P500 for
10 kilometer Open Category ages 15 years old and above. Kids category is open
to first 200 shoppers while the first 500 shoppers for Open category.
Registration will start on June 20, 2019. Just present your receipts to any
Customer Care inside NCCC Supermarket branches.
After the run there will be a Go Green Zumba Challenge that
will host by Celebrity Zumba Instructor Regine Tolentino. It will be open to a
group of 10 members. Each member needs to purchase P300 worth of Century Tuna
products starting on July 3, 2019 at any NCCC Supermarket branches. There will
be as much as P45, 000 worth of prizes to be given away! Just present your
receipts to any Customer Care inside NCCC Supermarket branches. The proceeds from this event will go to
Matigsalog Tribe of Marilog District.
NCCC Supermarket Marketing Manager Janna Mutalib said, “It
is a one-day event that will not only encourage us to be environment conscious but
to maintain a well and healthy lifestyle as well.”
