Chimes Boutique Celebrates Motherhood this month of August
It’s “All about Baby!” this August at Chimes.
Together with
Mommy Mundo, Chimes aims to help moms throughout their motherhood journey with
a series of events that touch on timely and interesting subjects for mothers of
children in various ages and stages. The campaign kicked off last August 3, 2019 with “Breastfeeding & Beyond”, a timely
discussion as August is National Breastfeeding Month, and August 1-7 is World
Breastfeeding Week. Tricia Mae Lim of Lacto Mom & Baby lead the
breastfeeding advocacy and shared her breastfeeding journey, highlighting the
beauty of this month and the natural
method of caring for one’s baby. She also shared lactation goodies from Lacto
Mom which is the first lactating baker in Davao.

Afterwards, Jenny Tai-Uyking
of Jenny’s Kitchen supported the advocacy by offering complementary
breastfeeding tips for babies ready for solids foods. She also did a demo of
baby food using the Owl Baby Food Maker. Guest even got to sample the
all-natural treats such as the veggie pancakes.

This baby-centrict, kid-friendly atmosphere continues with
two more “All About Baby!” events that are coming up.
Capturing Moments!
On August 24, 2019 baby lifestyle photographer Mima Tan of
Mimatology talks about capturing moments – how best to translate real moments
to lasting memories – then will get behind the lens to do snap sessions* for
the first 20 moms who register during the event! (*kids must be able to sit on
their own for sessions).
Let's Celebrate!
On August 31, 2019 Christine Kaindoy of Christine Kaindoy
Weddings & Events will walk moms through the fun aspects of throwing a
party for kids, be it for their baptism, first birthday, or other milestone
celebrations. She will share her tips and tricks on how to have a stress-free
party planning by teaching us how to conceptualize a theme, how to plan for budget;
make DIY projects and supplier sourcing.
Moms can expect an afternoon of educational discussion, an
array of products offerings and special discounts. There will also have a fun
space for you kids to play in by Little Barangay Davao.
Wish Registry Service
The three session hope to complement Chimes’ recently
launched Wish Registry service. It’s a premier gift registry that takes the
guesswork out of gifting. Occasions such as birthday, weddings and baptisms may
be registered at Chimes Flagship and the celebrator can create a wish list from
any of the items in the store. This wish list is in turn shared with friends
and family who themselves get 10% discount when they purchase from the wish
list. Free gift wrapping services and delivery may also be availed. As a gift
to the celebrator, Chimes will also give him or her exclusive Chimes Premier
card that gives them 10% off on their purchases all year round, and a special
15% discount during their birthday month. That’s truly a lot of wishes granted!
